Michael Broadfoot, Chairman

Mike Broadfoot’s business interests are focused on the development of early stage companies. Mike retired from his employment career in the merchant energy business and his then current position as CEO of Engage Energy in mid 2002, shortly after the sale of Engage to a US-based energy company. Since that time he has focused on corporate Director work for early stage companies in which he holds a significant investment. Mike’s current business related Directorships are: Chairman of Solium Capital, a TSX listed company which is a leading global provider of web-based stock plan administration technology; Chairman of Medgate Inc., the North American leader in Occupational Health & Safety software; Chairman of InnerVision Medical Technologies, an early stage company with proprietary technology in medical imaging; Director of Cambrian House Inc., an early stage company with a platform that is home to the world’s first on-line crowdsourcing community.

Mike’s past Directorships include: Union Gas, the Ontario natural gas utility; Peyto Exploration and Development, a TSX listed company which Mike was a co-founder of in 1998, and a Director of until June 2003; Stormworks Ltd. a privately held e-business services company that was acquired by Solium; and Encore Energy a joint venture between Engage and EPCOR, the Edmonton based power and water utility.

Sean Murphy Ph.D., President & CEO, Director

Sean Murphy joined the InnerVision Medical Board in September 2008 and in June 2010 became the company’s President and CEO. Sean has had a long and successful career developing and commercializing medical products in the areas of diagnostic ultrasound and medical robotics, stemming back to 1992 when he joined Acuson Corporation, the global leader in medical diagnostic ultrasound. From 1992 to 2000 Sean worked for Acuson and served as Director of Engineering from 1996 to 2000. From 2001 to 2005 Sean served as Vice President Engineering of Siemens Medical Solutions, Ultrasound Division (previously Acuson). In 2005 he joined Hansen Medical, the leader in flexible robotics for medical applications, progressing from Senior Vice President of Engineering to Senior Vice President of Operations. In 2009 he left Hansen to join a very promising startup, Restoration Robotics Inc., a company using image-guided robotic technology to perform hair restoration, and then in June 2010 Sean transitioned from InnerVision Medical board member to President and CEO. Sean holds a B.S. and a Ph.D. from the University of Ulster, Northern Ireland.

Alan Knowles, Director

Alan Knowles served as a director of Company since April 2003. Alan assisted Tim Davies and Richard Evans in forming the Company and continues to assist InnerVision in reaching its funding goals. Alan is a respected Senior Oil and Gas Analyst with Haywood Securities Inc, of Calgary, Canada, a position he has held since October 2000. Between 1996 and 2000, Alan held similar positions with both Research Capital Corporation and Canaccord Capital Corporation. In the 15 years prior to this he held senior financial executive roles with several prominent Canadian public companies. Alan holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary, and both the CMA and CFA designations.

David Christie, Director

David Christie became actively involved in InnerVision in the Spring of 2005 and brings considerable experience in commercializing medical devices to InnerVision. In his most recent role as Chief Operating Officer at VSM MedTech Ltd, David was responsible for manufacturing, regulatory, quality assurance, and service, of functional brain imaging systems and blood pressure monitors, contributing significantly to the growth of VSM from a company with no revenue and 12 employees to $15 million in revenue and 175 employees. In prior roles as Executive Vice President and General Manager, David led the engineering and business development initiative on ground-breaking blood pressure technologies, and prior to that as Vice President Sales and Marketing, successfully launched their proprietary blood pressure monitor and established international distribution. David was Vice President and Regional General Manager, BC and Alberta, for Medigas, Canada’s leading respiratory care company. David held increasingly senior management positions with American Hospital Supply, and then Baxter Corporation, the world’s largest supplier of medical-surgical supplies to hospitals. David has his Masters in Business Administration from the University of British Columbia, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Montana.

Tim J. Davies, Founder and Chief Science Officer, Director

Tim Davies founded InnerVision in mid-2002 and has led the scientific innovation of InnerVision’s proprietary technology since its inception. Over the past 20 years Tim has been involved in the design and creation of state-of-the-art sonar technology and the many applications of that science. Tim has held senior positions in advanced sonar R&D for applications in the sub-sea and defense sectors, with Lockheed Missile and Aerospace, Royal Ordinance UK PLC; and for a short period of time in the early 1990s, Tim applied his acoustic expertise in the development of medical imaging (that endeavor was truncated, as the cost of super computing was too expensive for commercial viability). He holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Calgary with majors in Applied Mathematics and Non-Linear Dynamic Systems. Tim is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the Society of Molecular Imaging, and the Association of Ultrasound and Medicine.

Geoffrey Bennett, Director

Geoffrey Bennett joined the Company as chief operating officer in August 2003, bringing over 20 years of operational and financial experience. Geoff has focused his efforts over the last 10 years with early stage enterprises and their specific operational and financial needs and has a proven track record in technology commercialization. Most recently he was a Partner in the New Zealand based venture development firm, Southern Lights Ventures Limited. In this role Geoff worked with New Zealand entrepreneurs to successfully commercialize their technologies into global markets in the fields of non-destructive testing, industrial energy management and bio-medical supply.
From 1999-2001 Geoff was chief financial officer of Pelorus Navigation Systems Inc. a publicly listed company in the aerospace industry. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
